Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS) has acquired US-based recycling company Jet Polymer Recycling for an undisclosed sum.

Based in Fort Payne, Jet Polymer operates three plastic recycling in Alabama and Georgia.

Jet Polymer supplies a full suite of industrial solutions for the thermoplastic industry, including polymer engineering, product development, waste stream management and recycling.

Its custom and industrial recycling solutions range from waste stream analysis and consulting to turn-key logistics and equipment support.

The company offers a full suite of turn-key recycling solutions for order fulfilment and return operations, item assembly, repacking lines and inventory management operations.

Jet Polymer also offers recycling solutions for single store and chain retailers, wholesalers and grocery stores.

In addition, the company provides recycling solutions, for government, residential and public entity applications.

ADS president and CEO Scott Barbour said: “This acquisition advances our strategic priority to expand the ADS Recycling capabilities to support future growth, while also underpinning ADS’ commitment to environmental sustainability.

“Through this transaction, we secure high-quality recycled plastic to leverage in the fast-growing on-site septic wastewater business, as well as a platform to obtain additional high-density polyethylene in the southern region of the United States, which remains a key growth area for both ADS and Infiltrator.”
