At GEC, this month, Hell Gravure Systems will demonstrate HelioXtreme, a new way of producing gravure forms, said to overcome the restrictions of conventional engraving. According to Hell, it enables the HelioKlischograph to support a higher write resolution than the selected screen definition. In principle, the engraver functions like a lasersetterand achieves high contour definition and high print densities.
HelioXtreme also gives users the potential to generate both conventional, autotypical and FM screens – and it can provide contours with outlines.
