In the USA, adhesives specialist HB Fuller and Darex, supplier of sealants and coatings for cans and closures, have formed a joint marketing and distribution alliance. HB Fuller will sell Darex’s Daran PVdC latex for flexible packaging in conjunction with its Hydroflex family of waterborne adhesives for dry and wet laminations.
Daran coatings act as a barrier to transmission of oxygen, moisture, aroma, grease and other materials.
