MeadWestvaco Packaging Resources Group has developed an ideal mate for Honeywell Specialty Films Division’s high moisture film Aclar, offering pharmaceutical manufacturers a new choice in substrate for high barrier blister packaging. Printkote EasySeal Plus, an extrusion-coated paper-board, has been developed to consistently seal to high mois-ture barrier film. In joint tests it is said to have repeatedly achieved a fibre-tear bond to Aclar in heat seal applications.
