Rockware Glass has set a shining example of what can be achieved from efforts in recycling by winning the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise: Sustainable Development 2003.
It was praised for its “outstanding advances in reducing environmental impact and increasing glass recycling” and commended for “the breadth of its approach, from education, to collection, treatment and recycling into new bottles and jars at Rockware itself”.
