Fresh meat bagging has stepped up a gear with the launch of the Roboloader BLR1 from Cryovac Sealed Air Corporation that combines automatic measurement of product dimensions with a robotic arm.
Requiring only one manual operator, Roboloader will load products into the appropriate bag from a choice of up to six sizes. Bag selection is made through an individual sizing of the cut, with the bag handling tool tuned to both product and bag size. Maximum output is 20 bags/min at the bag loading stage.
