Invisible on-packaging and on-product protection

AlpVision’s invisible digital solutions for product authentication only use regular visible ink or varnish when applied to various packaging components. For protection of various containers using matt molded parts such as capped vials and flip tops, AlpVision’s digital solutions for product authentication do not need any additional marking and use the item as is.

AlpVision’s on-packaging and on-product digital solutions for product authentication are commercialized worldwide under license agreements and through provision of turn-key computerized systems. Software delivered by AlpVision for protection of pharmaceutical products against counterfeiting and market diversion is FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliant and is guaranteed to be in accordance with the GAMP 5 Computerized System Validation guidelines.

Local and remote verification processes

A simple standard office scanner or a digital camera is used to capture an image of part of the packaging or product in order to carry out an automated “genuine-or-fake” verification.For local authentication, have your computer installed with AlpVision’s exclusive authentication application.

For remote authentication, send the scanned image file to your secured server.

Managing the security features

For management of the production of the various security features, AlpVision provides under license turn-key software which interacts with the in-house product management system of the branded products manufacturer. Training of the customer’s staff in the use and administration of the system is an integral part of AlpVision’s standard services.
