Successful trials have been conducted at Windmöller & Hölscher, Lengerich, on the latest Astraflex DD press, using newly developed plates from Asahi Photoproducts and the latest RB600 ink system from Sun Chemical. High quality prints were achieved at the running speeds of 600m/min specified for this press, on both PP and PEE films, report the three companies.
Asahi’s SG and SH plates are two of the latest products from its AFP range aimed at giving value added performance to the printer. The RB600 ink system is the latest development in Sun Chemical’s ULO range for the snack foods market.
