Akzo Nobel Inks has relaunched Lithocure 200, a dedicated UV offset ink for narrow web applications.

Reformulated to give improvements in press performance and adhesion characteristics, the ink now offers adhesion to a very wide range of synthetic substrates, especially to PE, PVC and metallic foils, while still maintaining high colour strength and high resistance properties says the company. Its use for a broad range of applications means a reduced inventory.

Showing excellent colour strength as well as lithographic properties means reduced waste during set-up and ultimately improved profitability adds Akzo Nobel. And the converter will also notice “a high print quality throughout the press run even at high printing speeds”. Although designed to be used for narrow web rotary offset, it can also be used in UV rotary letterpress, and is available in the full range of Pantone basic shades and four colour process set.
