A closure for the personal care sector designed to significantly reduce water penetration, decrease product waste and protect brand integrity has been launched by Zeller Plastic, the plastics closure division of Crown Cork and Seal.
The Watertight Tube closure features an enhanced skirt seal which is claimed to increase water resistance under the lid and between the tube neck and closure body, protecting bath and shower products from dilution.
An extended thumb tab protects the lid and deck area. In addition, the closure’s deck makes a flush fit against dilution and mould growth.
Watertight can be colour-matched to the package or product. It is available in a two-inch diameter, 22-400 finish with .118″ and .197″ orifice sizes.
