RPC Cresstale has enhanced its Revolve two-part lipstick pack with an improved mechanism featuring a more positive pushback. This increases the resistance to stick insertion pressures threefold, giving fillers more control over variations in lipstick bulk hardness.

The revisions also improve the interference between the parts, enhancing movement in the pack and so raising the perception of quality.

Originally produced in polypropylene, making it the only mono polymer lipstick mechanism available says Cresstale, the pack’s godet tower will now also be manufactured in acetyl for improved torque performance without the need for lubrication.

The formerly all-plastic pack can now be supplied with an optional metal shell and with printed and lacquered spiral effects.
